Notice of Collection:
Terms & Conditions

By requesting, joining, agreeing to, enrolling in, signing up for, acknowledging, or otherwise consenting to receive one or more text messages from the Connie Hudson Campaign (“Sender”, “we”, “us”, “our”) through Sender’s messaging platform (“Platform”), you accept these Terms & Conditions (“Opt-In”).

Opting In

  • You authorize Sender to use auto dialer or non-auto dialer technology to send text messages to the cell phone number associated with your Opt-In (i.e., the number listed on the Opt-In form or instructions, or, if none, the number from which you send the Opt-In, or, if none, the number on file for the account associated with your Opt-In). You also authorize Sender to include marketing content in any such messages. You do not have to Opt-In or agree to Opt-In as a condition of purchase of any of Sender’s offerings.

  • You confirm that you are the subscriber to the relevant phone number or that you are the customary user of that number on a family or business plan and that you are authorized to Opt-In.

  • You consent to the use of an electronic record to document your Opt-In.

  • You agree that, in addition to the main messages for campaign activities, polling and general information that Sender may provide, you may receive one or more welcome messages or administrative messages, such as (in some cases) a request to confirm your Opt-In.

About the Text Message Services and Opting Out

  • Message and data rates may apply. You should expect to receive one message per week and no more than 5 unless you message us. You must have a wireless device of your own, capable of two-way messaging, be using a participating wireless carrier, and be a wireless service subscriber with text messaging service. Not all cellular phone providers carry the necessary service to participate. Check your phone capabilities for specific text messaging instructions.

  • Unless otherwise noted, Sender may send multiple, recurring messages and frequency may vary. Sender may terminate any messaging services or your participation in it at any time with or without notice, including, for example, before you have received any or all messages that you otherwise would have received, but these Terms & Conditions still will apply. Your opt-out request will generate a confirmation text.

  • You consent to the handling of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. To contact Sender customer service by phone or text at 251-333-0025.

  • You may text STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to opt-out of messages or for additional help, text HELP. You also understand and agree that any other method of opting out, including, but not limited to, texting words other than those set forth above or verbally requesting one of our employees to remove you from our list, is not a reasonable means of opting out. You may receive an additional mobile message confirming your decision to opt out. These Terms & Conditions still will apply if you withdraw the consent mentioned above.

  • To request a free paper or email copy of the Opt-In, or to update our records with your contact information, or receive help with any messages, please contact us by phone or text at 251-333-0025.. Minimum technology requirements may apply for electronic records.

  • You may not use of engage with the Platform if you are under thirteen (13) years of age. If you use or engage with the Platform and are between the ages of thirteen (13) and eighteen (18) years of age, you must have your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to do so. By using or engaging with the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that you are not under the age of thirteen (13) years, are between the ages of thirteen (13) and eighteen (18) and have your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to use or engage with the Platform, or are of adult age in your jurisdiction. By using or engaging with the Platform, you also acknowledge and agree that you are permitted by your jurisdiction’s applicable laws, rules, and regulations to use and/or engage with the Platform.

In order to enhance your overall user experience, we collect two types of information about our users: Personal Information (“Personal Information”) and Non-Personally Identifiable Information (“Non-Personal Information”). Our primary goal in collecting information from you is to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience while using our site.

 

Personal Information: We may collect personal information you voluntarily provide to us including, but not limited to your name, e-mail address, postal address, phone number, mobile number and geographic location. You may provide this information when you request information, register, make a purchase or for other purposes. We may also collect demographic information such as gender, date of birth, occupation, employer name and zip code. In limited circumstances, we may collect payment information such as credit card number where needed to complete a requested service or transaction.

 

Non-Personal Information: We may also collect non-personally identifiable information that is generated automatically while you are visiting the Site or elsewhere on the Internet when our advertisements are served, also known as log files. This data includes, but is not limited to, information such as IP address, web pages visited before and after visiting the Site, date and time, domain type, type of mobile device you use, your device’s unique ID, web pages you view and links you click on within the Site and interactions with our advertisements delivered by us or advertisements delivered by a third party advertising technology vendor. This type of information may be collected using different types of technologies, such as cookies and pixels. An IP address, for example, is a unique identifier that certain electronic devices used to identify and communicate with each other on the Internet. When you visit the Site, we may view the IP address of the device you use to connect to the Internet. We use this information to determine the general physical location of the device and understand from what regions of the world the Site visitors come. We also may use your non-personally identifiable information to enhance the Site.

 

We do not collect any Personal Information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. You provide certain Personal Information to us when you: (a) register your email address with us; (b) enter sweepstakes or contests sponsored by us or one of our partners; (c) send email messages, submit forms or transmit other information by telephone or letter to us through our site; or (d) submit your credit card or other payment information when making a contribution or purchase on our site. We may also collect information from you at other points on our site that state that such information is being collected.

 

In addition, we may also collect, or our third-party servers and/or providers may collect, certain Non-Personal Information. This information is ultimately stored in the form of categories, and, in some cases, specific URLs. We use your IP address to diagnose problems with our servers, software, to administer our site and to gather demographic information. Our third-party providers may also provide us with summary, but not individual, reports that will tell us how many users interacted with or clicked on certain content on the site, along with aggregate data about the types of users who interacted with that content.

 

We will primarily use your Personal Information to provide our content to you as requested when you submit that Personal Information. We will also use Personal Information you submit for purposes that include, but are not necessarily limited to, enhancing the operation of our site and our emails, completing transactions as necessary, improving our promotional efforts, statistically analyzing site use, improving our content offerings, and customizing our site’s content, layout, and services. We may use Personal Information to deliver information to you and to contact you regarding administrative notices. We may also use Personal Information to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our agreements with you.
